     The bistro serves "modern Asian cuisine," a new cooking featuring Asian fusion by a celebrity chef Ken Hom. Here, Mangosteen Sorbet is served before main course -its sour taste helps increase appetite. A one-of ­ a- kind menu particularly designed is Crab and Prawn with Coriander Ravioli in a Chinese Herb Broth, the crab and prawn dumplings served with Chinese herb soup in a Chinese teapot. An ideal prawn recipe is Sauteed Lobster with Mango Salad and Avocado Mayonnaise. The decor is modern Chinese, the arched entrance built according to feng shui principles, adorned with Chinese golden painting in a  huge frame, and the alley lit by rainbow lights . If you love a romantic sense, the seats at the side of window are recommended. From here you can look at the outside scenery and rest your eyes on the beautiful blooms.

     BO.LAN derives from the names of the owner-chef couple. The word sounds similar to Boran, a Thai word  meaning old / ancient / traditional. This name suits well with the restaurant's con­cept which emphasizes on unique Thai style, yet the decoration has a modern design sense. The alfresco wooden deck show the Goddess of Rice painted onto the wall, while-the ceiling is adorned with black Kradong ( at baskets).   A big recipe book is placed on each table for diners to learn about history of traditional Thai cooking while waiting for the savory dishes to be served.

     The chefs pay meticulous attention to use only local premium ingredients. They serve Thai dishes that are rarely found nowadays , including Meang Maprang (a mix-it-yourself appetizer, combination of plum mango, toasted coconut, lime, ginger, tiny dried shrimp, and sweet sauce), stir-fried Thai-French beef with spicy shrimp paste, and fish fillet with turmeric dipped with -southern style soup . The rice served at the restaurant is also a real Thai breed. You can choose your favorite rice, and of course it's premium whatever you take. The menu changes every 2 months depended on seasonal products. So this promises you there will be a new selection of delicious food every time you come back.

    The house of real cheesecake expert, on the avenue between Thong Lor and Ekkamai Roads, has served a wide selection of foods and desserts for more than 26 years. At first the  restaurant served up only fine cheesecake, other menus were added up later. The atmosphere in the little cafe is cozy and warm in shade of light brown. The spotlight is the cake and bakery selections in the cake showcase, its scent is as alluring as you can imagine. 
                     
     Let's order a main course  (if you don't want  to take a shortcut  to  dessert  menu.) The  must-try dish  is  Fried Seafood Rice Noodle with Egg and Chilly  Paste,  delectable fried rice filled with  big mussels,  prawns, and squid. A recommended drink is Lemongrass Sling, a lemongrass juice with mint aroma, giving a fresh, energetic feeling. A vast array of distinct bakeries are such as Lemon Meringue Pie, a meringue assorted with sour lemon, and Strawberry Choco Cake, a chocolate cake, not very big but rich in taste, with a large piece of fresh strawberry that you can bite only in a particular season.
