This fabulous century old Thai house has stood magnificently on Surawong Road since the reign of King Rama V, but the house is now still in so good condition that the owner can’t stand revealing this flawless treasure to the public by opening a Thai restaurant to serve delectable Thai cuisine.
The scrumptious taste comes from a perfect combination of imported ingredients and local herbs. Salmon satay and scallop with chili and basil are examples. Also recommended is papaya spicy salad with coconut's hearts and big grilled prawns. Apart from the above menus, a must order dish you shouldn't miss is Kratong Thong (crispy cups filled with minced prawns and garden herb salad) as it's really difficult to find delicious Kratong Thong at the present time. After the meal, you can relax watching antiques in the restaurant as if you're strolling in a museum.
