Location: In Amphoe Um Phang, Tak. From the Um Phang Town there is a stream running to the Klong River. Each dealer has settled different rafting spots. Yet if you want to raft on rubber boat to Tee Lor Le Waterfall, you will have to start at Patala Kareang Village, which is about 27 kilometer from the Um Phang Town.
Characteristics: Mae Klong River in Um Phang District is the beginning of the rivet; which comes from several small streams earlier. This part of Klong River has wonderful forest atmosphere along the riverbank; green forest, wild life, and peculiar-shaped cliffs and rocks.

Summer (February-May) : level 2 (sometimes the water is so low that rafting is not suitable)
Duration: From Um Phang-Tha Sai (continue to Tee Lor Sul: 25 kilometers (3 hours)
      From Tha Sai-Palata Kareang Village: 15 kilometers (2 hours) From Palata Kareang Village- Tee  Lor Le Waterfall: 40 kilometers (5-6 hours)
     Travelers who want to continue to Tee Lor Le Waterfall can go to start rafting at Palata Kareang Village by car. The distance is only 27 kilometers from Um Phang, so it will faster than rafting directly from Um Phang.
Highlights: From Um Phang to Tha Sai
      The course starts from a small stream flowing to the Klong River, along which most dealers have their own resorts. When your raft reaches the Klong River, you will find rich natural surroundings; plants, wild life, arid odd shaped cliffs. The raft will run pass Tee Lor Chor Waterfall that flows from high cliff, hot stream, small rapids, and two high cliffs call led Pha Luad and Pha Bong. Finally you will find a terminal pier where you can continue to Tee Lor Se Waterfall by car for another 17 kilometers.
Most travelers stay over in tent around the  Um Phang Wild Life Sanctuary. After visiting the waterfall, some go further to visit other places by car, but it is also possible to come rafting further to Palata Kareang Village or to Tee Lor Le Waterfall.
From Palata Kareang Village to Tee Lor Le Waterfall
     Patala Kareang Village is about 27 kilometers from the Um Phang Town, a perfect start for rafting to Tee Lor Le Waterfall .The total distance is around 40 kilometers, which takes about 5-6 hours. Thus, you should start early in the morning. The nature along this course is brilliant, especially the forest and the colorful wild birds. You will pass several enjoyable rapids, before reaching Tee Lor Le Waterfall in the late afternoon.
The camping site of this course is along Mae Klong River a little bit before Tee Lor Le Waterfall. Once you finish with Tee Lor Le Water­ fall, you just have to turn back against the water tide because there is a cave called Tham Nam Muud blocking the course. The next day you can go back to Palata Kareang Village, mostly the dealer will have the elephants come take travelers and their belongings back. Travelers may choose to walk back or ride on elephant's back. The distance is around 35 kilometers, you can walk within one day, or stay in the forest another night if not in haste.

Caution: From Palata Kareang Village to Tee Lor Le Waterfall are several rapids, you should follow the officers' instructions attentively. Moreover, you should wear your lifebuoy and helmet firmly, because the accident like the overturn of the raft is highly possible.
