The Beautiful Beaches and Islands East of Thailand

The beautiful beaches and islands East of Thailand
When the nortneast monsoon calms down, the touris season one again begins together with a coming of summer season. Eastern Thailand has a long coastline extended from Chonburi Rayong, Chanthaburi, to Trat.
The east coast has many popular attractions sine the access is very convenient, within a few hours drive from Bangkok. The beautiful beaches and islands are really worth visiting. Here are some outstanding, famous attractions in the eastern region.

Pattaya, Chonburi
Pattaya embraces a vast variety of travel styles a tourist city should have . The bustling atmosphere of pubs , restaurants, hotels, stores and a lot of tourism businesses along the beach from North Pattaya to South Pattaya is absolutely different from the tranquility of Naklua Beach on the north of Pattaya city which is suitable for relaxing and playing water sports. With this different range of atmos pheres, Pattaya is  ideal for travelers seeking  the  peaceful but enjoyable getaway.

SiChang Island,Chonburi

Si Chang Island is big enough to be officially considered a district of Chonburi . The island is a perfect escape to nature and local cultures . Catch a tuk-tuk to visit many interesting places on the island such as Chudadhuj Palace a summer palace of King Rama V, and Khao Khat Pass on which a pavilion-that  the King  spent time to  see the most beautiful sunset on the island-used to be located. As it's not far from the mainland, Si Chang is perfect for both day trip and overnight stay.

Samed Island, Rayong
Samed Island  welcomes visitors with many beautiful beaches and crystalline clear sea. The west coast of the island; Wai Bay, Kew Bay, Teoi Bay, Tien Bay, and Prao Bay, embraces various great spots for diving since the abundance of coral reefs, while the east coast such as Sai Keaw Beach is noteworthy for its pristine crystal- like white sandy beach.

Koh Chang Island, Trat
This is the second largest island of Thailand (the largest is Phuket), and still rich in pure natural resources. Plenty of fabulous beaches, abundant coral reefs, lush forests, and beautiful waterfalls make  the  island  become the perfect hideaway for real travelers.
